Brewery news

Ontario Beverage Network reports that a new brewery will be launching next month in the Ainslie Wood neighbourhood of Hamilton.

Fairweather Brewing has been founded by partners Ram McAllister (previously of Hoyne Brewing), Brent Milcz (previously of Boshkung Brewing), and Dan Ryan.

Located at 5 Ofield Road, Fairweather be releasing draught product for local bars and restaurants starting in May, with a taproom and retail store set to open later this year.

Head brewer McAllister tells OBN the following:

Our initial offerings will be on a limited release basis and will include mostly Belgian and American style ales along with several mixed fermentation and barrel aged offerings. Whether bright and hoppy, rich and dark, subtle and elegant, or any other combination of characteristics, beer at its best is a transcendent experience, and one that we are deeply committed to sharing.
