UK: Scottish Courage is extending the Kronenbourg brand name with a range of fruit beers. Following from the success of its white beer Kronenbourg Blanc, launched earlier this year, the beers will be based on a range of ScotCo-owned Belgian fruit beers called Lambic, The Publican wrote on September 3. Kronenbourg’s previous brand extension Deco, combining Kronenbourg with a shot of absinthe, was shelved earlier this year, 12 months after its launch.
