BRUSSELS: The price of a glass of Stella or Jupiler beer will go up by 3.4 percent from 1 September, it emerged on Wednesday. This will mean paying 12 cents more for your glass of beer.

The rise comes just eight months after a 2.5 percent increase in January.

According to the world's largest beer brewer, Interbrew, prices are spiralling because of increased energy costs and more expensive raw materials.
