Brewery news

Anheuser-Busch InBev is cutting several products, including its Budweiser Black Crown and Beck's Sapphire beers, from its US portfolio.

The brewery said the cuts are part of a "portfolio optimization initiative," Advertising Age reports.

Other products being cut include Oculto, a tequila-flavored beer, and Mixxtail, a cocktail-inspired line of drinks.

"Anheuser-Busch is consistently looking for ways to optimize our portfolio and deliver the right brands at the right time," an AB InBev spokeswoman told AdAge. "As part of that continual evaluation, we've decided to discontinue or re-align a selection of low-volume brands and flavor variants this spring."
