San Diego-based Green Flash Brewing Co. said it plans to open its East Coast brewery and tasting room in Virginia Beach noon to 8 p.m. Nov. 13, Daily Press reported on October 24.

The event at 1209 Craft Lane will feature a commemorative cask tapping and a fly-over by a retired military plane, according to a news release. Visitors can sample the beer and educational programming.

The day will also feature live music and food from local vendors. The event is free and open to the public.
