Brewery news

The first brewery to operate in Lethbridge, Alberta since the closure of the local Molson plant in 1990 opened to the public on December 19 – and quickly sold out of beer, Canadian Beer News reported.

Theoretically Brewing was founded by Kelti Boissonneault and Kris Fischer, with veteran homebrewer Fischer serving as brewmaster.

The brewery retail store opened at 1263-B 2nd Ave South on December 19 with two beers – Curiosity Amber Ale and BHB Stout – available in bottles, and all stock sold through in just a few hours.

Regular business hours will start in the new year, and both beers will also be available on tap soon at local bars and restaurants.
