The St. John’s Telegram reports that a new brewery is being proposed for the town of Port Rexton on Newfoundland’s Bonavista Peninsula.
Port Rexton Brewing has registered for an environmental assessment, with plans to open a brewery, retail store and tasting room in an existing building, with a production capacity of 300 hectolitres per year.
No timelines have been given for the opening of the brewery, but the story notes that the Department of Environment is expected to make a decision on the proposal by December 10th.
