Angola imported almost 65% less beer in the second quarter of this year as compared to the same period in 2015, Noticias ao Minuto reported on October 14.

Beer was one of the imported products most affected by the country’s economic troubles related to the falling crude oil prices.

In April-June 2014, the country imported 65,773 tonnes of beer, but during the respective period this year the volume declined to 23,280 tonnes.

The main volume of beer shipped to Angola comes from Portugal.
