Beach Haus Brewery opened earlier this year at the former site of Freedman's Bakery in Belmar, and on May 8-10 it celebrated its grand opening, Asbury Park Press reported on May 12.

The brewery, which began as a project between friends Brian Ciriaco and John Merklin in 2007, houses a production facility, tasting room and a retail shop.
