Goshen Brewing Co. plans to have its doors open for May 25 – the Memorial Day weekend, Flavor574 reported on May 6.

“We’ve had a lot of people helping,” owner Jesse Sensenig said, noting that family, friends and employees are all working together.

Potential customers and curious onlookers are stopping in at 315 W. Washington St., Goshen, daily to check on progress.

Jesse and his wife Amanda Sensenig are working alongside chef Jesse Shoemaker, general manager Jason Heatwole and others to get ready.

Sensenig, the head brewer, already has nine batches fermenting, including coffee brown, pale ale, kolsch, hoppy wheat and several scotch ales.

About 20 employees will be on staff when the family-friendly brewpub opens.
