E-Malt.com News article: USA, CO: Odell Brewing Company announces Friek return
Brewery news

On November 23, 2013, Odell Brewing will celebrate the return of Friek, the brewery’s beloved Lambic-style Kriek-Framboise hybrid, according to the company’s press release. Now in its fourth season, Friek has become one of the brewery’s most highly anticipated releases.

Brewed with Colorado grown cherries and aged in oak barrels for months, Friek is blended with fresh raspberries just prior to packaging. The subtle raspberry sweetness balances the cherry tartness. A crisp and bubbly body creates a delicate and refreshing finish.

“This time of year is the perfect season for Friek,” said Tap Room manager, Kailey Schumacher. “It pairs so well with many holiday dishes and adds unique character to traditional recipes when cooking with it.”
