Belgium’s Interbrew takes concrete steps for fortifying its position in Balkans. Thus, for accomplishing its strategy in this region, the Belgian giant has recently purchased 9,37% from the stock of “Apatin” - the brewer no. 1 in Serbia which holds at present a 40% share in the Serbian beer market.

This purchase follows other acquisitions made by Interbrew in this region in such countries as Bulgaria, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia , Montenegro and Slovenia.
