E-Malt.com News article: Canada, BC: Cannery Brewing to revive Lakeboat Lager in cans
Brewery news

Cannery Brewing has announced the re-launch in a new format of a beer that pays tribute to an iconic historical landmark in Penticton - Lakeboat Lager, Canadian Beer News reported on July 3.

Lakeboat Lager was released in bottles last year to help raise funds to restore the S.S. Sicamous, a large steamboat that was in operation in the Okanagan Valley from 1914 to 1935, and which is currently open as a museum and events facility. The beer proved so popular that it’s going into regular production, and will be moving to cans.

Lakeboat Lager will be available in 355 ml cans at the Cannery retail in Pentincton, BC store starting with mid-July, with distribution to select liquor stores in BC to follow soon after.
