Brewery news

Founded by baseball-loving couple Mark and Mandie Murphy, Left Field Brewery is starting out as a contact brewery – producing beer at the Grand River Brewery in Guelph – while the Murphys lay down plans to open their own facility in Toronto, Canadian Beer News reported on March, 4.

Left Field will be launching with three beers developed by Mark, a graduate of the Niagara College brewing program. They include: Eephus Oatmeal Brown Ale, 6-4-3 Double IPA and Maris* American Pale Ale.

Flagship brand Eephus will be on tap at several craft beer bars in Toronto soon, and all three beers will be available at the Left Field Home Opener launch event, taking place on April, 5 at a location to be announced.
