Denmark: Country’s brewing force, Carlsberg A/S, announced on 4 March 2004 about the organizational changes in Carlsberg. Following the acquisition of Orkla’s shares in Carlsberg Breweries and the decision to acquire Holsten the following changes will be made in the Carlsberg organisation: Lars Fellman, who previously announced that he wanted to leave the Group and move to New Zealand, will return to Carlsberg as Senior Vice President and chairman of the Board of Directors of Carlsberg-Tetley, UK, Carlsberg related in a press release. He will also be responsible for Switzerland, Italy and Portugal.

Bjørn Wiggen, Senior Vice President, will join the Board of Directors of BBH. Furthermore, he keeps his responsibility for Eastern Europe as well as Germany, where integrating Holsten into the Group will be a key focus area in 2004. Senior Vice President Lars Påhlson will remain responsible for the Nordic area. Senior Vice President Jesper Bjørn Madsen will remain responsible for Asia and Export and Licence, among others. Senior Vice President Colin Povey and Senior Vice President Jørn Tolstrup Rohde remain responsible for UK and Global Sales, respectively.
