After a several-year search for a location in Ardmore, representatives of Iron Hill Brewery confirmed that they have signed a lease for a space at the Ardmore Plaza Shopping Center, Mainline Media News reported on December, 6.

“My partners and I are happy to announce that we have signed a lease for a new location in Ardmore,” Iron Hill President Kevin Finn said. “We’ve been looking for locations in Ardmore for years, and this space in Ardmore Plaza is the perfect spot for Iron Hill.”

Finn said the company hopes to open in Ardmore in early 2014.

The company, founded in 1996 by partners Finn, Mark Edelson and Kevin Davies, has nine locations in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey, including restaurants in Media and West Chester. It has announced the opening of its 10th location in Voorhees, N.J., in winter 2012-2013. Ardmore will be its 11th location.

With plans to open a total of five additional locations by 2015 from Washington, D.C., to northern New Jersey, Iron Hill Brewery is the fastest-growing brewery restaurant enterprise on the East Coast, according to a press release.

Finn said, with the addition of a smaller space next door, the Ardmore Plaza space will offer about 11,000 square feet.
