E-Malt.com News article: USA, PA: Tröegs Brewing Co. to release two new beers in its Scratch Beer Series

Hershey, Pennsylvania-based Tröegs Brewing Co. has unveiled two upcoming additions to its experimental Scratch Beer Series, Shanken News Daily reported on December, 4.

On December, 7, the craft brewer will release Scratch #82: Tripel, a pale ale made with 450 pounds of Pennsylvania honey and Westmalle yeast. Tripel will be joined by the launch of Scratch #82: ¿Impending Descent?—a Russian Imperial Stout brewed to commemorate the end of the Mayan calendar—next week.

Both offerings will be available in cases, six-packs, growlers and on draft for a limited time. Tripel and ¿Impending Descent? follow the recent rollout of Scratch #81: Export Lager, a draft-only pale golden lager released at the end of November.
