Japan’s Kirin Holdings has renamed Schincariol brewery, its Brazilian subsidiary, into Brasil Kirin, MSN reported on November, 13.

The names of the company’s beer brands, such as Nova Schin, will not be subject to changes, Gino di Domenico, the new head of Kirin’s Brazilian unit, said.

According to di Domenico, Brasil Kirin’s sales to-date increased by 9%.

The controlling stake in family-owned Schincariol brewery was bought by Kirin in November 2011.
