Following on the popularity of Red Dragon Double IPA, released in September as part of Alley Kat Brewing‘s Big Bottle Series of limited edition beers, the brewery is getting ready to launch a similarly hop-forward follow-up, Canadian Beer News reported on November, 16.

Blue Dragon Double IPA is brewed using Columbus hops, versus the Simcoe hops used for Red Dragon.

Also part of the Big Bottle Series, Blue Dragon will be available starting this Friday, November 18th at the brewery and select liquor stores and bars in Alberta.
