The Board of Directors of the Capital Brewery appointed Thomas Stitgen to serve as General Manager of the Brewery, the company announced on October, 10.

Mr. Stitgen will manage the day-to-day operations of the Brewery as well as develop plans to build long term value in the publicly held company.

Stitgen has helped many local businesses improve profitability and build business value over a 20 year career and was most recently a principal of the Bremser Group, Inc. of Waunakee. His background includes experience in all aspects of distribution based businesses from sales to the back office operations. “I look forward to joining the Capital Team and meeting with our distributors, key suppliers and customers. Capital has a rich history and I am glad to become part
of it”.

Stitgen has a Bachelors of Science in Economics and a Masters in Accounting, both from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and is a CPA.

“Tom has the ideal background to implement our recent plan to create three separate profit centers – Brewing, Bier Garten and Gift Haus Operations. He has been a member of our Advisory Board and I was happy to hear that he was interested in joining our Team”, said President and Board Member, Scott Wiener.
