E-Malt.com News article: Ukraine: Barley crop forecast raised to 8.3 mln tonnes

Ukraine is now expected to harvest 8.3 mln tonnes of barley this year, which is up from the previous forecast of 8.1 mln t but down from the 8.8 mln t harvested last year, UkrAgroConsult reported on August, 11.

The total includes 5.2 (previous forecast 5.0; previous year 5.7) mln tonnes of spring barley and 3.1 (3.1; 3.2) mln tonnes of winter barley.
