E-Malt.com News article: Bulgaria: Carlsberg introduces Tuborg’s new one-litre beer bottle in South-eastern Europe

Carlsberg Bulgaria has introduced on the national market the new format of packaging for its Tuborg Premium lager, in a Pet bottle, Sofia News Agency reported on July, 18.

Thus, Bulgaria becomes the first South-eastern European country to experience Tuborg's new one-liter beer bottle.

The new Tuborg Pet is said by its producers to be more sustainable comparing to glass due to reduction of carbon footprint, which Carlsberg deems with an important step in its environmental policy.

Tuborg's new bottles for the Bulgarian market will be produced in the country's Shumen brewery which began local production of Tuborg in 2004.
