E-Malt.com News article: Japan: Suntory to launch alcohol-free beer in late September
Brewery news

Brewing giant Suntory has announced that it plans to launch an alcohol-free beer drink this year, following similar moves by rival beverage makers, Namnews posted on August, 19.

The company said the Suntory Fine Zero drink will be launched in late September.

Suntory said the new product contains 0.00% alcohol, but has a "brisk flavor of beer" as it contains 1.3 times more malt. A 350 ml bottle will be sold for about 140 yen.

The new drink will be launched just weeks after Asahi debuts its Asahi Point Zero drink on 1 September, and following the April launch of Kirin Holdings’ Kirin Free brand.
