Carlsberg Malawi Limited (CML) launched last week a super premium brand, Carlsberg Chill, the Daily Times posted on May, 30.

Carlsberg Chill joins Turbog beer in the super premium segment among the imported brands of Carlsberg.

“As an exclusive beer, its distribution will be in selected outlets that are exclusive to match with the supremacy of the beer. Consumers should know that Carlsberg Chill is here to stay and will flood the market from Friday (May, 29),” Senior Brands Manager Alcoholic Beverages Levie Nkunika said.

According to Nkunika, Carlsberg Chill is brewed in Hong Kong and is being imported from Denmark.

“We conducted a market analysis and we discovered that we were missing something in a certain segment, hence Chill. As Carlsberg we will continue to listen to consumers and bring a lot of innovative products to the market,” he said.

Chill which is in a 325ml shoulder bottle is expected to be sold at a recommended price of K280.
