SABMiller has named the new president of its operation in Honduras, Cervecería Hondureña, S.A. de C.V, the brewing giant announced on December, 16.

Mauricio Leyva Arboleda, who up to today was working as marketing vice-president for the Colombian Bavaria, S. A., will assume his post as president of Cervecería Hondureña on March 1st 2009, and will replace Grant Harries, whose appointment as general director of SABMiller in Russia was recently announced.

Cervecería Hondureña is the leading beverages company in Honduras and is the tenth most important operation of SABMiller in terms of profits worldwide. Each year it bottles 1.1 million of beer. Its beer brands Port Royal, Salva Vida,Imperial and Barena are leaders in the Honduran market.
