The Poland’s beer maker, Grupa Zywiec, owned by Dutch brewing force Heineken, intends to sell two of its smaller breweries to Brok-Strzelec, Polish press reported. The selling will be made with the purpose to pave the way for Heineken's acquisition of the Austrian brewer, BBAG. The two smaller breweries of Grupa Zywiec are thought to be s Kujawiak and Van Pur. The action would enable the Grupa Zywiec to receive approval for the BBAG acquisition from Polish anti-monopoly authorities, according to reports.
