Unions at brewer InBev S.A. are ready to call for a strike over the non-payment of salaries during a previous strike just over a week ago, L'Echo daily reported, citing union representatives, according to Thomson Financial, May 6.

Some staff was blocked from getting to work by picket lines during a strike over pay on April 25.

InBev has refused to pay staff for the day of lost work and who refused to sign a document saying they wanted to work.

An invitation by the company to discuss the matter on Tuesday has been rejected by the unions.
