E-Malt.com News article: Belgium: Duvel to continue beer production at Liefmans Breweries’ plants

Belgian brewer Duvel Moortgat said that administrators of Liefmans Breweries had given it the right temporarily to continue production at the Belgian peer's plants, according to Reuters, February 20.

Duvel, known for its Duvel bottled beer and other speciality beers such as La Chouffe, has also bid to take over substantial assets of Liefmans.

Duvel added that other parties had also put forward offers to continue production or buy Liefmans assets.
