Japanese brewing force Asahi Breweries Beer Co announced that it would be delisted from the first section of the Nagoya Stock Exchange (NSE), due to the small trading volume of its shares. Asahi Breweries will stay listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the Osaka Securities Exchange. A total of 64 companies listed on the NSE, applied for delisting from the stock exchange for the period January 1 to May 28, 2003, NSE said.
