E-Malt.com News article: UK: Scottish & Newcastle to announce 2006 preliminary results on February 20

Scottish & Newcastle plc will be announcing its preliminary results for the 52 weeks ended 31 December 2006 on Tuesday 20 February 2007, according to S&N’s press release of February 1.

Analysts and investors will note that Carlsberg, S&N’s joint venture partner in Baltic Beverages Holding (BBH), will also be announcing results on the same day. As a result, both companies have decided to take the opportunity to present BBH results within their respective presentations on that day. Accordingly, the previous notice announcing BBH results for Tuesday 13 February is withdrawn.

This change has been made for the convenience of analysts and investors; however, S&N intend to review the position for future announcements.

Scottish & Newcastle will hold its presentation for analysts and investors at 10.00 at Deutsche Bank, Winchester House, 1 Great Winchester Street, London EC2N 2DB.
