Almost Famous Brewing Co. is planning to close its doors in late December, the Patch reported on November 14.

The business, which is known for its beer, food trucks, car shows and live music, announced the decision Friday morning on Facebook.

Its last day of operations will be on Sunday, Dec. 28, according to the announcement.

The business’ owners said they came to the decision “after lengthy deliberation and reflection.”

“We want to thank each one of you for making our journey exciting and rewarding,” they said.

Business will continue as usual until then, and management encouraged customers to still come and enjoy its food trucks, music and upcoming calendar events through Dec. 28. Several bands are still scheduled to play, and there are open mic and jam sessions.

The business will honor reservations for private events which have already been booked. Customers with questions are urged to contact the business.

“We continue to explore different ideas and options for the brewery but can’t guarantee where it will take us,” the announcement said. “We have many things to consider and evaluate with this incredibly hard decision.”

The business invited customers to join them for the brewery’s “final cheers.”

“We met so many amazing people and made many new friends along this ride,” the owners said, in the announcement. “We thank you all for your friendship, understanding and support.”

Within two hours, the announcement had already garnered more than 100 comments from customers, expressing dismay at the upcoming closure and wishing the owners well.
